Why do we charge a deposit amount when purchasing a refurbished part?

We do this to maintain the availability of parts 'to be overhauled'. This is only possible if we receive your old part in a reusable condition .

Unfortunately, it has become apparent that without a financial incentive, in some cases we will not receive the old part back or it will not be reusable.

Sometimes the part was not returned or was packaged so carelessly that it arrived defective.

Of course, a fan may be electrically defective and the bearings may be worn.

But the impeller (vane / wheel) must be straight and intact and the connecting cables may not be cut off!

Defective parts that cannot be repaired and are no longer available new mean that we cannot use your old fan. And a broken fan during shipping, due to careless packaging, is the most common cause.

By calculating a deposit amount, the amount of which is based on the value of the fan in question and its rarity, we try to get the customer to take some care when packing and returning it. Only then can we continue to offer these refurbished parts.

Return

Returns are free from the Netherlands. Customers abroad will receive a DHL or DPD return label with the shipment, the costs of which have already been calculated during the purchase.

It just takes some of your time to properly package the old part and take it to the relevant carrier. (PostNL, DHL or DPD)

Packaging

If you pay attention to how we packed the part and you pack the old one exactly the same (so reuse all protective materials!) then everything should be fine.

Refund of the deposit

As soon as your old part has been received in good condition, we will refund the deposit amount in full, guaranteed. We receive daily feedback from the overhaul company about received returns and process the refund within one working day.

If there has been demonstrable lax handling of the packing and shipping, we will use your deposit amount to purchase suitable used parts in order to maintain the supply.
